welcome

My research practice of drawings and limited edition prints inspire surface patterns for application across fashion, interior and architectural contexts. With a modernist graphic aesthetic the quality of materials and design are of primary consideration. All products are made in England.

LATEST NEWS: Winter 2016/17 Happy New Year!

It's been a busy few months as I combine my design practice with my academic role at Birmingham City University. I have been focussing on a couple of new and exciting projects - with rather long timescales before any public sightings I'm afraid... but I have really enjoyed the problem solving aspect of exploring visual language and references to suit the clients - both rather different.

Following the launch of my new pattern collection 'threads' at London Design Fair the collaboration with Formica enables you to order my designs in any colour to suit client requirements. Get in touch for order details. You can read more about the collection development on my blog.

My collaboration with the Window Film Company has proven popular. 'Construct' and 'threads' patterns are available to buy direct from them.

The exhibition featuring my 'Plot to Plate' collection at Shire Hall Gallery Stafford has ended but I'm preparing for a new exhibition in Birmingham this Spring, more news to follow.

This winter has seen the Barbican open the brand new, much larger retail space which includes my 'Rhythms' commission for them. The designs have been inspired by the centre's Brutalist architecture as well as the role the centre plays in hosting musical events and performances, with products featuring my artwork including tea towels, bags, mugs and a limited edition screen print. You can read a blog post about the project here.

Once again, thanks to all who support my work...Follow me on social media for regular updates.

You can see more of my work at In The Window featuring 'Threads' as well as the 'Plot to Plate' and 'Construct' collections.
